In fact, it’s the opposite.
Failure signals and end.
If you’ve changed and started doing something else, you’ve just begun.
I talk about art, design, and creativity
In fact, it’s the opposite.
Failure signals and end.
If you’ve changed and started doing something else, you’ve just begun.
Being a successful entrepreneur is one thing.
Building great relationships and helping others along the way rather than tearing them down is another.
Business doesn’t care about your feelings.
Business is just business.
Last week I had to ship a poster that fit almost exactly into a DIY-ed box. If it were any smaller in length, the poster would have to be cut.
Turns out, I taped the box so tought that I indeed almost trimmed a few millimetres off my posters.
That was when my mom pointed out that I was just making more work for myself.
The simpler route was to retape the box to be sealed, but less tought.
And it worked.
Sometimes you just have to step back and simplify your work.
What are you known for?
What do your customers and non-customers say about you when you’re not around?
What do people expect from you?
How do you uphold your end of the deal as a business?
What does your brand stand for?
One really nice, edited reel won’t do as much for your business as opposed to 100 decent reels that talk about highlights and benefits of your product.
Social media needs context.
People want to see more, not less.
The only way you’ll build brand and win business is by posting more pieces of content.
It’s actually the opposite.
Because you tried something and it didn’t work out, you’ve come out more experienced.
You’ve learned something new.
You now have time to take on new projects that will lead you closer to your success.
If you’ve ever wanted to build a brand, you can do so with $0, today, at home, with your phone.
What’s left is actually doing the work.
It took me 4 years to grow a 15k following on Instagram for my family’s restaurant.
The first 2 years were slow. In fact, over half of the followers have been acquired within the past year.
Slow doesn’t mean you’re not growing.
Things take time, so give yourself the appropriate amount.
